Welcome to Trinity United Methodist Church. We're a small congregation worshipping a Great God! Come visit us and share in the blessings of fellowship in Christ Jesus.
Monday evenings are a special time of worship, Bible study, and prayer at Trinity United Methodist Church. Starting at 7:00 pm, we meet together for about an hour in the Fireside Room for GPS.
What's GPS? We all need guidance in our daily lives just as we need guidance when we drive a car. Years ago we got our directions from maps and a compass. Today we "need" GPS (Global Positioning System). But for our spiritual lives - and we are spiritual beings every day as we navigate our way through the maze and debris we call daily life - we need a type of GPS as follows:
All together, they give us what we need to live our Christian lives with success - God's Positioning System.
In our "hour" together we will sing God's praise for about 15 minutes with Priscilla leading us on the piano, then we will study several chapters of the book of Psalms for about 30 minutes as Pastor Kerry leads us through the Prayer/Hymn Book of ancient Israel, and then we'll conclude with about 15 minutes of prayer that is based on the Psalms we studied (we'll be praying Scripture back to God, thus praying in His will!).
Who should come? EVERYONE! Whether or not you can sing! Whether or not you would ever pray out loud! Whether or not you've ever read or studied the Bible before! All ages Middle School through post-senior citizen! Come especially if you missed worship on Sunday. Come if you want to go "the second mile" with Jesus. Come to learn more about the Bible without being put on the spot to read or say something. Come as often as you can even if you can't attend every week because each chapter in the book of Psalms is a separate unit of Scripture. Just come and be blessed!
Keep an eye on the Calendar of Events for any changes or cancellations in services.
